Alzheimer’s Australia provides practical information and support to family members and carers of people living with dementia.

Support for Family & Carers

We offer a vast network of support groups around Australia, confidential counselling, workshops and information sessions designed specifically for your needs.

Information on caring

Whether your family member has been recently diagnosed or is in the later stages of dementia, the Help Sheets in these sections offer practical tips on what to expect and how to cope.  They can be printed off for quick reference or given to other family members or employers.

Workshops & Information Sessions

Free workshops and information sessions run throughout the year and cover a range of topics.  To find out what is on offer in your State or Territory select Workshops & Information Sessions for more information.
