What is the purpose of the Training Resource Kit?
The kit provides a user friendly resource which can be used by Registered Training Organisations and services. It is deliberately quite prescriptive in its presentation; this is to make it easy for trainers to deliver proven quality material, which meets the set of requirements of the unit of competence.
What does the Training Resource Kit contain?
The kit includes:
- A training program made up of 5 sessions
- Complete resources for each session including trainer notes and suggested activities
- Resource List outlining suggested videos and resource material
- Full set of recommended student handouts and a full set of Slide transparencies/ PowerPoint slides.
Although prescriptive, using the kit and delivering the material flexibly and creatively is encouraged. Extra information on activity alternatives and a suggested Teaching Program is provided.
