   Support Groups

Share your experiences with others who understand in one of our many Support Groups.

What is a Support Group?
Support Groups are meetings of family members, friends or neighbours who are involved in the care of a person with dementia.

Each group varies in size with some having special memberships such as for people with different cultural backgrounds and men's groups.  The organisation also runs groups for people in the early stages of dementia.

What is the aim?
Support Groups meet regularly at a local venue to share their experiences and support each other in working towards overcoming the problems and challenges they face as carers.

I'm not comfortable talking to a group about my concerns
You may prefer to talk to one of our professional counsellors in a private and confidential setting.  Read more about our counselling services.
