New Mind your Mind booklet – “Mind your Mind: How to keep your brain healthy and reduce your risk of dementia”
Dementia cannot yet be prevented or cured, but research has demonstrated that certain lifestyle and health factors may help to reduce the risk or even delay the onset of dementia. Research shows that people who follow a ‘brain healthy’ lifestyle have better brain function and a lower risk of developing dementia on average than people who don’t.
To help reduce your risk of dementia, Alzheimer’s Australia developed the Mind your Mind program which involves seven Mind your Mind signposts or health messages. To find out about the signposts and how you can lead a brain healthy lifestyle download a copy of our booklet - Mind your Mind: How to keep your brain healthy and reduce your risk of dementia.
